*wiping off spider webs that grew over for the past few months*

YAY!! Finally have the mood to blog now! By the way, this is my first time blogging in New Zealand. A month ago, I left Brunei and came to a new land called New Zealand and settled down at a small town called Dunedin.

Took some pictures with friends before leaving my nest, Brunei!

Faizah, me, Suaidah and Misa

Me and Suaidah (my first best Malay friend and also first friend to email me when I arrived in NZ)!! *hugs hugs* :P

Thanks for coming to the airport to sent me off! Really appreciated the moments we spent together for the past few years!! :D

Then off I go and arrived in Auckland airport after 9 hours of flight! And need to stay in the airport for time to fly for 5 hours before flying off to Dunedin. So, we wondered around airport during mid-night and of course took some pictures..

Rafidah, Yee Hui and Syazwani

Me and Yee Hui after 9 hours of flight!! *horrible*

The seniors did pick us up at the airport and the 10 of us split into 2 groups because college does not have enough space for the 10 of us to stay and we are also the late comers. So, me, Yee Hui, Rafidah and Syazwani stayed in Cumby College and the rest stayed in the Court. Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages of staying in cumby la, but don’t want to speak it out to spoil my mood! hehehe..

Yee Hui (my one and only Chinese first year friend) studying at my room!

Clearer view of my room. It’s kind of small but cozy! Just enough for 1 person to live and study :)

Meet the Malaysians! All the girls are from my corridor, very friendly and helpful!

Syazwani, our clown at Cumby! She can really dance and sing to entertain us whenever we wanted her to! But now, things might have changed la!

Cumby always organised games and activities to fill our life to the fullest! The first activity I signed up at Cumby was Disco Ice-Skating on one of the Sunday night!

The lighting and music was so nice! Hope to go there again! :)

At the bus coming back to Cumby!

And for this Easter, Cumby did also organised eating chocolate stuffs. I didn’t join because I don’t want to exercise for 2 weeks to burn off those chocolate that I must eat during the competition.

Brain freeze, eating 5 scoops of chocolate ice cream
Raj (3rd from the right) was our corridor representative

Picnic, to eat a bar of picnic in the shortest period of time.
Kiong, our corridor representative.

M&M (sucking M&M and pass it to the next person using straws)

And if the M&M drop, this is how it is. Sucking up the M&M on the floor using straws, no hands are allowed.

My corridor came last for all those competitions because my corridor mates are all Asians, how to win Ang Mo leh? hehehe.. :P

Before Easter break and before Boston leave NZ to go to Perth for holiday, we celebrated her birthday. I made a card for her. Not that pretty but good enough with the limited things I have here.

I used cardboard and cello-taped or glued it with colored papers for the card as well as the alphabet.

All Asians celebrating a Kiwi’s birthday! :P
Happy Birthday Boston!! :)

Well, Brunei Student Association(BSA) also did organised some activities, e.g movie night, laser tag, beach outing and sport day. The movie night at Lee Shen’s house was horrible, terrible, vegetable. Not that night was bad but they were watching horror movie, what am I going to do? So I siok sendiri at Lee Shen’s room lo.. Did gossip with Yi Huey, Chian Mei and Yee Hui for a while and they went to watch the 2nd movie, so I watched korean variety show using Lee Shen’s laptop. :)

BSA did bring us for some fun activities like laser tag, bowling and mini golf.

Group photo of BSA members!

And also for the sports day, I only participated in Badminton because I don’t know how to play futsal

The team that won for Futsal with BSA’s president and vice presidents

We did also managed to go to St. Kilda beach and St. Clair beach, and also on the way back home, there was also a Gypsy Fair at the Oval. Nothing much there, but we get to see so many gypsy styled stuffs and ate cotton candy! yummy~

Waiting for the shuttle bus to pick us up!

While waiting for the others to come, we did some photo snapping in the playground.

Everyone came and took a group photos! :)

Had a really fun easter holiday with the seniors and Bruneians as well as the Malaysian friends. But time flies so fast, and holiday is going to end so soon! :( Everything need to get back to normal and need to start studying for the upcoming test!! :(

For this easter, I did something that made me proud of! I gave my first easter gift to my seniors because they are just sooo kind and caring to me. So, I did a card and brought a lotion for them because their skins are soo dry and they seldom put on hand lotion. So, I as a lovely junior brought them a lotion so they have no excuse to not put it on!! Hehehe :)

Cute leh? Hope they like it!! :)

That’s all for now! I will try to keep blogging whenever I’m free!! :)

xoxo
